There were 836 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.74 billion and HK$2.93 billion, or 7.82% and 6.12% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 23.39% and 18.75% of respective stock's turnover.
SMIC (00981) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.89 billion and HK$1.79 billion of short sales, accounting for 3.95% and 3.74% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 11.44% and 27.8% of respective stock's turnover.
