HK$103.99 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$13.39 billion, or 12.88% of the
market's turnover. There were 652 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT
(00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.07 billion and HK$758.18
million, or 7.98% and 5.66% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 38.44% and 17.96% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$731.05 million and HK$673.24
million of short sales, accounting for 5.46% and 5.03% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 19.09% and 20.46% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.042, or 0.93%, to HK$4.536. TENCENT ended up HK$2.6, or
0.62%, to HK$422.4. TRACKER FUND rose HK$0.26, or 1.26% to HK$20.9. MEITUAN-W jumped
HK$6.5, or 3.43%, to HK$195.8.
