HK$237.77 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$32.95 billion, or 13.86% of the
market's turnover. There were 790 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER
FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.77 billion and HK$2.95
billion, or 14.46% and 8.95% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 39.69% and 26.36% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and POP MART (09992) registered HK$2.61 billion and HK$1.01 billion of
short sales, accounting for 7.93% and 3.06% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 31.97% and 17.14% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.065, or 1.15%, to HK$5.565. TRACKER FUND ended down
HK$0.08, or 0.3%, to HK$26.68. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.36, or 0.38% to HK$93.2. POP MART
jumped HK$16.4, or 9.07%, to HK$197.2.
