HK$285.43 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$44.46 billion, or 15.58% of the
market's turnover. There were 820 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.28 billion and HK$3.24
billion, or 11.87% and 7.28% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 56.15% and 45.15% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$2.71 billion and HK$1.4 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.09% and 3.15% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 7.96% and 6.53% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.095, or 1.78%, to HK$5.25. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1, or
1.07%, to HK$92.68. TENCENT fell HK$23, or 3.96% to HK$558. TRACKER FUND jumped HK$0.08,
or 0.3%, to HK$27.08.
