[ET Net News Agency, 10 April 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$124.75
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$17.45 billion, or 13.99% of the market's
turnover. There were 783 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.17 billion and HK$1.14 billion, or
6.71% and 6.55% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
35.42% and 13.28% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.05 billion and HK$750.02
million of short sales, accounting for 6.02% and 4.3% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 40.62% and 14.41% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed up HK$0.54, or 0.61%, to HK$88.72. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.2, or
0.77%, to HK$26.22. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.06, or 1.27% to HK$4.774. TENCENT declined by
HK$3.5, or 0.69%, to HK$505.
