[ET Net News Agency, 17 March 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$268.26
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$36.63 billion, or 13.66% of the market's
turnover. There were 822 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) saw
higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.73 billion and HK$2.17 billion, or 7.45%
and 5.93% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 10.61%
and 20.88% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.8 billion and HK$1.73 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.92% and 4.71% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 24.34% and 22.15% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.08, or 0.31%, to HK$26.2. BABA-W ended up HK$0.6, or 0.45%,
to HK$134.6. XIAOMI-W rose HK$0.16, or 0.45% to HK$35.36. CSOP HS TECH remained flat, to
HK$4.998.
