Organized by TEA ROUND and PMQ, and co-organized by Sun Sing Tea, TEA ROUND 2026 makes its return to PMQ from 30 January to 1 February, 2026. Embracing the theme “Blended”, this year’s TEA ROUND gathers tea artisans and enthusiasts from diverse regions, generations, and perspectives to co-create a new chapter in Hong Kong’s tea culture. In the vibrant fusion of East and West that defines Hong Kong, blending transcends mere flavours—it evolves into an art of cultural harmony. From the precise Puerh and Tie Guan Yin blends crafted by masters in historic tea houses to the iconic stocking-pulled Hong Kong-style milk tea, this tradition strikes a balance between bitterness and aroma, embodying the city’s adaptability and innovative spirit.
The event features over 50 popular local and overseas brands spanning tea, gastronomy, and teaware. With a mobile tea truck distributing freshly brewed Hong Kong-style milk tea, a Puerh blending exhibition, the return of the “Tea Around You Ceremony”, traditional tea sealing rituals, and various tasting workshops, TEA ROUND 2026 promises that whether you are a connoisseur or a novice, you will find your perfect “cup of tea.”
The Most Vibrant Tea Market: Tasting, Touring, and Lunar New Year Shopping
Transforming the PMQ courtyard into the city’s largest tea culture hub, the event features over 50 brands—its most extensive line-up to date. The curation seamlessly blends tradition with modernity: The 60-year-old heritage brand Ming Heung Tea Shop will present its unique charcoal-roasted Chiu Chow Gongfu tea; Chinese Tea Gallery, a fourth-generation tea merchant, brings a TEA ROUND exclusive blended tea—Puerh blended jasmine tea, which has been a traditional blend commonly used in tea houses. It combines the smoothness of Puerh with the delicate jasmine fragrance of fragrant pieces, bringing together aged aroma and floral notes in one; while BE MY TEA and First Glance highlight boutique Matcha drinks from Guizhou and Japan, respectively. Tea shop Plantation will also debut a unique Kombucha made from speciality tea. Furthermore, a mobile tea truck will feature milk tea masters from Hiang Kie Coffee, Kam Yee Siu, and Chart Coffee, demonstrating the art of milk tea and distributing free tastings at designated times.
Visitors can indulge in exclusive culinary collaborations designed to pair perfectly with tea. Highlights include the Michelin-recommended Tim Ho Wan, offering event-exclusive mini Ma Lai Go (steamed sponge cake) and Char Siu rice. Dessert lovers must try Verona Gelato’s exclusive “Blended Tie Guan Yin” ice cream, boasting intense tea notes. Ruri Patisserie will showcase their famous roll cakes in Sea Salt Caramel Tie Guan Yin and Four Seasons Tea Pineapple flavours, while Best Fruit brings chewy, fragrant tea and fruit mochi. Completing the line-up, Sapsan will evoke nostalgic childhood with its tuck shop concept, serving a delightful assortment of tea-infused snacks—guaranteed to be a hit with foodies and Instagrammers alike.
Beyond tea and food, the selection of teaware is vast. Brands popular with the cultural youth, such as momogawanou and tete, offer minimalist yet artistic ceramics. Mong Saam Lau is renowned for its handmade teaware in Hong Kong, offering unique textures and lines to enhance the sensory experience of tea drinking. With the Lunar New Year approaching, TEA ROUND serves as the ideal destination for festive shopping. Highlights include the Chas Yeh Yeh Year of the Horse White Tea Cake, playfully dubbed the “Hermès of Tea.” Its packaging is full of character, containing a blend of three different vintages and varieties, delivering a profile that is fruity, soft, sweet, and refreshing.
Savouring Global Tea Flavours in One Stop
Alongside a strong local presence, the international line-up is equally impressive. Notable participants include tea merchants from Fuzhou showcasing Fujian Gongfu Tea, which is listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. 2Fan Tea Studio from Taitung and Nantou brings a unique terroir tea experience led by two active tea competition experts. For those who enjoy a tipple, Taipei bar Astea offers Tea Cocktails. From Hiroshima, TeaFactoryGen presents tea cultivated naturally, without fertilizers or pesticides, emphasizing a light roast that highlights clean aromas and gentle sweetness. Meanwhile, HOYUMTEA from Israel introduces a
series of spiced and wild teas for those looking to broaden their horizons.
An Endless Stream of Tea Activities
TEA ROUND is not just about shopping; it is about immersion. The programme adheres to the “Blending” theme. Puerh enthusiasts should not miss the “Puerh Blending Exhibition”, the “Puerh Tasting Session”, and the “One Day Puerh Master Experience” to decipher the “Batching code” on tea cakes and understand the history of Hong Kong blending.
For those who enjoy milk tea as a comfort drink, the “One Day Milk Tea Master Experience” allows participants to understand tea base blending, explore various tea aromas, and pair them with different evaporated milks to discover their personal favourite mix and match. Additionally, the highly popular “Tea Around You Ceremony”, “One Day Tea Master Experience”, and the “Tainan Traditional Tea Sealing Event” return to delight fans.
