"LOCI” is presented at the Fringe Club, where the venue’s historic architecture becomes the starting point for the exhibition's reflection. Six Hong Kong artists of Generation X use "lines" as a metaphor to weave together personal life experiences, the city's fabric, and the cultural traces left by the colonial era, exploring how these persist, transform, or fade in the contemporary moment. Layered impressions move back and forth through the space, forming trajectories that can be seen, felt, and reconsidered. The exhibition invites visitors to re-explore and reflect on how history continues to shape individual and collective consciousness today, thereby connecting the known past and present with imagined possibilities for the future.
